Boerie Rolls

Serves 1 person


Ingredients:
  • Hotdog rolls
  • Boerewors
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • Lettuce
  • Excella Rich & Creamy Mayonnaise
  • Excella Sunflower Oil for frying

Method

Step 1:

Add 1 tablespoon of Excella Sunflower Oil to a large pan over medium heat. Add the boerewors to the pan in a coil shape and allow to cook 10 minutes each side until the wors is cooked through and browned on each side.

Step 2:

To make the crispy onions, heat Excella Sunflower Oil in a medium sized saucepan. Once hot, add the sliced onions to the pan, salt and let cook for 4 - 5 minutes, stirring occasionally so the onions don’t stick.

Step 3:

Cut the hotdog rolls, layer with lettuce, add the boerewors, lettuce and crispy onions. Serve hot with Excella Rich & Creamy Mayonnaise.
